DE LA SALLE University kept its poise against a tough challenge from Far Eastern University which forced two nerve-wracking sets before yielding to the unbeaten Lady Spikers, 30-28, 25-12, 28-26, to in University Athletic Association of the Philippines Season 85 women’s volleyball action Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
“We were flat in the first set,” Lady Spikers assistant coach Noel Orcullo said. “I needed to remind the girls to execute what we do in practice.” The Lady Tamaraws slipped to 4-5 won-lost at fifth place, only half a game ahead of Ateneo de Manila University.
