Defending champion National University tries to stay perfect in three games when it takes on University of Santo Tomas in the UAAP Season 85 women’s volleyball tournament on Saturday, March 4, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
The Lady Bulldogs , who played their first five-setter match against the Adamson Lady Falcons last March 1, are eyeing a commanding win in their 2 p.m. encounter, with reliable middle blocker Alyssa Solomon expected to put up another impressive showing after erupting for a career-high 28 points the last time.
Meanwhile, Adamson and Far Eastern University are raring to bounce back at the expense of each other when they meet at 12 noon.
