PUTRAJAYA: The lack of clear guidelines on artificial intelligence , particularly regarding ethical standards, remains a significant concern as the technology continues to evolve rapidly.

"The guidelines on AI are still very grey. What we have seen is it's been rolled out but we haven't always discussed the ethical aspects. Because you know, different countries have different ways and different cultures. "Should AI be allowed to scan it? If so, at what cost?” he said during Bernama TV's The Nation programme on Thursday .He noted that 2024 saw the integration of AI as an embedded service across major platforms including iOS, Samsung, Microsoft, and Google.
