The incident happened during a police raid on a house in Tumpat 4 years ago.
A happy Mohd Faizu Ramli with his lawyer, Shaharuddin Mohamad, at the Kota Bharu Sessions Court today.
He had filed the suit on May 14 last year and named Lance Corporal Mohd Erman Ahmad, the Tumpat district police chief and the government as the first, second and third defendants respectively. Instead, he said the policeman accused him of wanting to obstruct the police from discharging their duty and slapped him on the left ear, causing his ear to bleed.
