Labour’s candidate for Dublin Central has said that people in her community are "fed up" with "drug dealing, anti-social behaviour" and "stigma" amid suggestions that Gerry 'The Monk' Hutch will run for election.Over the weekend, it was reported that Mr Hutch, 61, is planning to run for election in the Dublin Central constituency.
When asked in Leinster House what she thought of Mr Hutch running, she said it was a decision for him to make. "It's up to yourselves in the media to be asking those questions in the course of the campaign, about the candidacy of any one individual. "Firstly, in terms of the drug dealing, the anti-social behaviour, the crime that they see around them. This happens across many communities.
