Labor and the Greens have struck a deal to pass the $15 billion National Reconstruction Fund but the government has dismissed the need for measures included in the minor party's amendment.
The fund was a centrepiece of Labor’s election campaign as it spruiked the need for Australia to reinvest in a domestic manufacturing industry.
