Los Angeles County reports 43,000 additional COVID-19 cases in one day, a new record for the county
The county also reported 28 additional deaths from the virus.
The continued danger posed by the virus to young people was demonstrated in Orange County, which is now reporting its"COVID does affect the children and unfortunately this child was too young to get vaccinated," said Dr. Regina Chinsio-Kwong with the Orange County Health Care Agency.
