Kyrie Irving will not return to the Brooklyn Nets after serving the minimum five games he would be suspended for - the Nets ruled him out for Sunday against the Lakers.

Irving has since apologized for the tweet, an item that was on the Nets' list of actions Irving must complete. However, it is unclear when the guard will return. The Nets also face the Kings in Sacramento, and the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday, before returning home next Sunday to host the Memphis Grizzlies. They will hit the road for another three games after that before starting a seven-game homestand on Nov. 27.will also likely miss the game, due to a groin injury.
