Kyle Kuzma Opts Out Of $13M Deal With Wizards - RealGM Wiretap
Kyle Kuzma will not exercise his $13 million player option with the Washington Wizards for next season. Kuzma will be an unrestricted free agent on July 1.
Kuzma is coming off one of the best seasons of his career, as he averaged career-highs in points and assists. Kuzma averaged 21.2 points and 3.7 assists per game, along with 7.2 rebounds. There is a possibility Kuzma could return to Washington on a new contract. He'll weigh offers from other teams against what the now-rebuilding Wizards offer, in the wake of the Bradley Beal trade to the Phoenix Suns.
