KUNDASANG: The hilly Kundasang district is set to be transformed into a net exporter of high-value vegetables.
The popular tourist destination is also known for local produce like cabbages and strawberries, which grow well in cooler climates.Sabah Agriculture and Food Industry Minister Datuk Junz Wong said his ministry, together with the farmers and other relevant agencies, would work out a plan to achieve the goal.
The dialogue was jointly organised by the Kundasang community development leader's unit headed by Siriman Basir and Sabah Agriculture Department.
