PETALING JAYA: Pasukan petugas Reform Batu Caves mahu semua ahli jawatankuasa pengurusan kuil Batu Caves meletak jawatan bagi membuka laluan kepada pemilihan anggota baru.

Lapan orang tersebut adalah Pengerusi Nadaraja Retnam; anaknya, Sivakumar; Krishnamoorthy Vyapuri; Alagan @ Alake Perisamy; S Argedas @ Suppiah Haridas; Velugopal Munusamy; Raman Kalimuthu dan R Subramaniam. Arun berkata Reform BC akan memohon campurtangan peguam negara jika tuntutannya tidak dipenuhi. Beliau berkata setakat ini ia berjaya mengumpul 30,000 tandatangan menuntut mereka meletak jawatan.

Di Kuala Lumpur, akhbar Tamil Malar Daily mendakwa jawatankuasa kuil membiayai tindakan undang-undang seorang pemegang jawatan terhadap beberapa individu berjumlah RM1.5 juta.
