MPKu is confident it will be able to attract more investment to the district this year.
Council president Mohd Fahmi Salam said MPKu had a few major investments in the pipeline that were expected to be announced by the state government later.
“I cannot reveal the names of the companies yet but we are confident that we will be able to achieve last year’s rate of foreign direct investment , which amounted to 70% of Johor’s total investment,” he said. Mohd Fahmi said MPKu would ensure that all new investments would result in more job opportunities for locals in Kulai.
