KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The High Court here was told that former Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor received a monthly salary of RM39,227.20, including allowance, from 2013 to 2018.

Division Secretary , the Cabinet, Constitution and Inter-government Relations Division in the Prime Minister’s Department Daman Huri Nor confirmed during the examination-in-chief by deputy public prosecutor Julia Ibrahim.

To a question from Julia about the payment of the salary to Tengku Adnan, Daman Huri said it was the Malaysian government. Meanwhile, 36-year-old Companies Commission of Malaysia Assistant Registrar Muhamad Akmaludin Abdullah confirmed that Nipponkey Sdn Bhd which was set up on June 29,2006 still existed.

Besides Tan, he said other appointees were Edwin Tan Pei Seng as a director and Zubaidah Azman as the company secretary. He said Pekan Nenas Industries Sdn Bhd was set up on Dec 19,1990 and located at Century Garden, Johor Baru, and added that it still existed.Tan was appointed a director of the company on Dec 19,1990, and other individuals appointed as directors of the company were Edwin Tan Pei Seng, M. Sani Md Taib and See Choon Gek, while Zubaidah Azman was appointed the company secretary.
