Legendary Malaysian music trio KRU is set to make history with their upcoming concert, GENKRU, scheduled for May 3, 2025, at Axiata Arena. Marking their epic return to the stage after over six years of hiatus, the concert promises a nostalgia-filled experience for longtime fans and an introduction to the iconic group for younger generations.
Petaling Jaya – Trio legenda muzik tempatan, KRU , bakal mencipta sejarah baharu dalam industri hiburan Malaysia melalui Konsert GEN KRU yang dijadualkan berlangsung pada 3 Mei 2025 di Axiata Arena. Acara ini menandakan kepulangan epik Norman, Yusry, dan Edry Abdul Halim ke pentas besar selepas lebih enam tahun menyepi.
Menurut Iman Tang, Pengasas ICON Entertainment selaku penganjur konsert ini, perancangan telah dimulakan sejak tahun 2022. “Konsert GENKRU adalah penghormatan kepada legasi KRU. Ini bukan sekadar hiburan, tetapi satu pengalaman yang akan menghidupkan semula kenangan dan mencipta memori baharu,” katanya.
Sambutan luar biasa daripada peminat turut mencuri perhatian, apabila tiket Konsert GENKRU habis dijual dalam masa kurang tiga jam. “Kami terharu dengan sambutan luar biasa ini, dengan 10 ribu pembeli siap berebut tiket sejak 8.30 pagi,” kata Iman Tang.
