The upcoming Kraven the Hunter movie won't be following the blueprint of classic hero films, with its director saying it will be a 'tragedy.'
Kraven the Hunter will feature Taylor-Johnson as he takes on the mantle of the titular Spider-Man villain, a Russian immigrant named Sergei Kravinoff. In the film, which is being billed as the next chapter ofJoining Taylor-Johnson in’s R-rated Marvel movie is Fred Hechinger as Chameleon, Kraven’s half-brother; Oscar nominee Ariana DeBose as Calypso, the occasion partner and lover of Kraven; and Russell Crowe and Levi Miller in undisclosed roles.
Kraven the Hunter is directed by Oscar nominee J.C. Chandor from a screenplay co-written by Richard Wenk , Matt Holloway, and Art Marcum. Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach are producing the project.
