Recently, the authorities from the Perak branch of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living revealed that petrol stations can shortchange us!

In the video, the enforcement officer explained that, with the help of their equipment, KPDN can verify the accuracy of petrol pumps by checking how much petrol is dispensed and whether it corresponds with the amount paid. The officer urged customers to check the verification sticker that can be found above each petrol pump, which shows that the pump has been inspected annually to ensure that no adjustments have been made.

“Also, for everyone’s information, we have found a petrol station that has adjusted their pumps so that they profit more,” he added.
