putrajaya Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad berpuas hati dengan prestasi Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu biarpun wujud spekulasi bagi menggantikan Menteri Besar Perak itu.
Perdana Menteri berkata, beliau akui wujud kontroversi untuk menjatuhkan Faizal kerana ada individu ingin mengambil alih kedudukannya.
Beliau berkata demikian bagi mengulas desakan pihak tertentu yang mahu menjatuhkan Ahmad Faizal daripada jawatan Menteri Besar. Ahmad Faizal ialah Pengerusi Pakatan Harapan Perak dan wakil tunggal daripada Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia dalam Dewan Undangan Negeri Perak sebelum Ahii Dewan Undangan Negeri Sungai Manik, Datuk Zainol Fadzi Paharudin meninggalkan UMNO.
Bagaimanapun, tindakan Osman itu mengundang rasa tidak puas hati netizen terutama ketika rakyat di Pasir Gudang berdepan musibah pencemaran bahan kimia.
