Kompany puts Foster’s future Bafana call-ups at risk?

Foster has not featured for Bafana since he returned from his mental health challenges, preferring to play for the Clarets and not be available for the national team. However, there is a new twist, as Burnley manager Vincent Kompany has been accused of playing the 23-year-old out of position. The Manchester City legend defended his decision to play Foster in a more withdrawn role, as Burnley fans questioned why a more natural player for that position Manuel Benson is not used instead."Lyle has already done it 15 or 20 times since he’s been with us, every player has done it, so I can’t control the perception. It’s an error to see it that way, but I don’t control that.
