Kolaborasi strategik kementerian dan pelbagai agensi hadapi Covid-19, kata menteri
Menteri Kesihatan Dr Adham Baba berkata Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia mengalu-alukan penghasilan idea bagi mencari kaedah serta pendekatan terbaik dalam memperbaharui teknologi sektor perubatan moden. – Gambar fail The Malaysian Insight, 13 April, 2020.
Beliau berkata hasil kolaborasi itu, tiga inovasi telah dihasilkan iaitu prototaip Peranti Perubatan Ventilator Menggunakan Teknologi 3D dan prototaip ‘Splitter Kit’ Ventilator untuk kegunaan lebih daripada seorang pesakit serta Unit Rawatan Rapi Hibrid di Lapangan . Bagi prototaip ventilator teknologi 3D, objektif penghasilan ialah ventilator kos rendah menggunakan teknologi 3D dan perkakasan minimum bertujuan menyokong keperluan asas pesakit Covid-19 sekiranya jangkitan di negara ini sampai ke tahap kritikal.
Teknologi kolaborasi bersama UEM Edgenta Berhad ini boleh menempatkan 10 katil yang bersaiz dari 20.88 meter x 6.50 meter x 3 meter . Beliau berkata ini selaras dengan usaha mewujudkan pusat kecemerlangan dalam bidang Kejuruteraan Biomedikal di KKM dan Fasiliti Kesihatan.
