Kok to head mission to Belgium in defence of palm oil

PRIMARY Industries Minister Teresa Kok will lead a mission to Belgium in May to explain Malaysia’s stand on the European Union’s decision to phase out palm oil in biofuels. The mission will also object to the EU’s delegated act that classifies palm oil as “high risk” feedstock in terms of greenhouse gas emissions.
