Some 510,000 travellers cleared through Singapore’s Woodlands and Tuas Checkpoints on Thursday (March 28), ahead of the Good Friday long weekend.
One of the worst hit places were parts of Jalan Tengku Kelana, where the royal town's Little India is located.
"Luckily, so far the upper part of Jalan Tengku Kelana has good water flow and no flooding," he added. It added that Jalan Tengku Kelana was one of the areas where the flood mitigation project was a success as there was no flooding after work had been carried out.
