Religious affairs minister Datuk Mohd Na’im Mokhtar has requested the Federal Territories Mufti’s office to call in Raja Bomoh for the recent “ritual” he did at the sinkhole area in an attempt to find the victim.
Na’im pointed out that back in 2017, Raja Bomoh was charged under Section 7 of the Syariah Criminal Offenses Act 1997 with insulting Islam by the Malaysian Islamic Development Department because his teachings were not in line with the Muslim faith.
