Kuala Lumpur (KL) City head coach Miroslav Kuljanac criticized the artificial turf at Jalan Besar Stadium, saying it was unsuitable for football and contributed to his team's 0-2 loss to Lion City Sailors FC in the ASEAN Club Championship 2024/25.

Jelas Kuljanac, pemainya bermain serba tidak menjadi dan sukar untuk menyaingi kemampuan tuan rumah yang berjaya merakam kemenangan pertama pada kempen kali ini selepas tewas dua perlawanan berturut-turut. “Mereka banyak bermain hantaran jauh dan ada dua atau tiga pemain yang begitu pantas di bahagian serangan yang memberikan banyak masalah kepada kita.
Terdahulu, jaringan setiap babak oleh Bailey Wright dan Maxime Lestienne memberi kekalahan pertama buat KL City pada kempen ACC kali ini.
