BANGKOK: Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra will make a landmark official visit to China from February 5-8, marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
KOTA KINABALU: Kota Kinabalu City Hall personnel will adopt a fast and efficient concept in implementing policies, programmes and services for the people while continuing to make it a sustainable and smart city.
“As we continue to bring betterment to the city and its folks, the expectations from people towards our services would also grow higher and become more demanding,” he said. City Hall will also focus on getting the smart city initiative going smoothly, working with agencies such as the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission for better city management and services rendered to its customers, he said.
For the purpose of cultural preservation and tourism development, City Hall holds various historical and cultural related events, hosts cultural festivals and promotes local products to domestic and international visitors to Kota Kinabalu, he said.
