KOTA KINABALU: The Kota Kinabalu City Hall has issued notices to owners of old and dilapidated buildings to conduct structural tests to ensure they meet safety standards.

The woman, identified as Wang Way, her husband and their son were operating the two-storey Chinese Muslim halal restaurant when the incident occurred around closing time at 8pm on Friday . “Building owners in Segama need to appoint a professional engineer to conduct a Structural Integrity Test. This test aims to assess the strength of the building and determine whether it is still safe to use.
