King Charles is reportedly so keen for Prince Harry to attend his May coronation that he has asked for the Archbishop of Canterbury’s assistance in getting his two warring sons to strike a peace deal before the event.
There has been a lot of speculation about whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be invited to the King's crowning, in the wake of the pair's bombshell Netflix docuseries and Harry's explosive tell-all memoir Spare.
Sources claim that Harry and Meghan could be promised a high-profile seating position at the event or that Harry may be given an informal guarantee that he can hold on to his titles if he attends. The King is reportedly concerned that Harry and Meghan's absence will be a greater distraction than their presence will be, but the Prince of Wales is reportedly concerned that his brother will use the coronation to stage a “stunt” that will overshadow the occasion.
