PETALING JAYA: The spirit of tolerance and diversity shared among Malaysians is the nation’s primary source of strength, says Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
The King said that in order to build a strong, prosperous, respectable and dignified nation, everyone must discard all forms of divisive rhetoric and unite to steer the country towards a better future.
Sultan Abdullah said this year would be the fifth time he and the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah celebrate his birthday with all Malaysians.“Last year, the 15th General Election and the process to form the Federal Government had progressed in a peaceful and orderly manner. “Our people have long been able to make a name for themselves on the global stage including in various fields, as well as to shape the geopolitical and regional landscape,” he said.
