King County deputies arrested a man who had an outstanding arrest warrant following a brief pursuit in Burien Wednesday evening.
, he attempted to escape them in his vehicle. During the pursuit, the man rammed into and damaged two King County Sheriff's Office vehicles. The man continued to attempt his escape in his then-damaged vehicle, according to KCSO.
Deputies initially chose to not engage the pursuit any further, but KCSO officials said he crashed his vehicle a short distance away near the intersection ofOfficials utilized resources such as patrol deputies, a K-9 unit, and the Guardian One helicopter to assist in a ground search for the man.. and arrested without further incident.
He will be booked into the King County jail on his original arrest warrant, and additional charges related to his attempts to escape arrest will be considered during the follow-up investigation, according to KCSO.
