Sultan Abdullah expresses sadness over the incident and hopes that those involved will be brought to justice.
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong says his thoughts and prayers are with those who were injured and those mourning their loved ones.
“His Majesty condemns this senseless act on innocent civilians and hopes that those responsible for this crime be brought to justice. Our thoughts and prayers are with those injured and those who are mourning lost loved ones,” the statement said.
