Kota Kinabalu: Tzu Yu Kindergarten fosters the spirit of patriotism from an early age by holding its sports day with National Day in the event held on Friday.

Guest of honour Datin Seri Vicky Yee said the goal was to ensure students had basic grasp of the meaning of independency at the same time becoming good sports.“The occasion is also to further promote parent-child relationships as well as building a healthy community,” she said during her officiating speech. Among activities were the recital of the National Principles and choreographed dances to the tunes of KeranaMu Malaysia and Jalur Gemilang.
