Kilkenny breezed into the All-Ireland semi-final with a ruthless demolition of Dublin.
The relative novelty of Dublin reaching the final didn’t last long as the game fizzled out as a spectacle very quickly. Mullen, making his first appearance since the opening round win over Antrim, was only getting started too - he went on to add another 0-5 before the break and finished with 0-7 in total.
Kilkenny’s intensity dropped as they only scored 0-2 in the third quarter though there was another goal gifted to Reid as a breakdown in communication between Brennan and Paddy Smyth allowed Mullen to run him in unchallenged in the 57th minute.
