A man was allegedly assaulted and abducted by four men with ties to gang affiliation in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
Police were called to an assault on Oyama Avenue in Manly at 9.30am on Sunday morning where witnesses reported a man was allegedly kidnapped by men in a Toyota Hilux.The Hilux was spotted a short while later on Warringah Rd in Forestville which fled from police who attempted to stop the ute.Stream Sky News live & on demand with Flash. 25+ news channels in 1 place. Picture: Dean RitchieA 24-year-old Sefton man, a 24-year-old Auburn man, a 25-year-old Colebee man, and a 19-year-old Doonside man were each charged with five offences. The Sefton man faced two more charges; police pursuit – not stop – drive recklessly and use offensive weapon to prevent lawful detention.The notorious Hamzy gang erupted in 2007 with Bassam Hamzy at the head at the group called Brothers for Life.
