Khune to return to Chiefs action better than ever?
With Kaizer Chiefs’ longest serving player Itumeleng Khune set for a stunning return to action, he may be returning as the best version of himself after his setback.
According to the club, the time off afforded him"an opportunity to complete a corrective programme designed for him to meet set expectations for a professional athlete." The statement added that Khune said he participated in the programmes set out for him and believes they assisted with his personal growth and development as both a professional athlete as well as an individual.
He regularly updated his social media pages with videos and images of him putting in the hard yards, working hard in the gym to keep fit and prepare himself for the long-awaited comeback.
