Khazanah says Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia merger unlikely

KHAZANAH Nasional Bhd has stressed that a merger between Malaysia Airlines Bhd and low-cost carrier AirAsia will be difficult to execute. The sovereign wealth fund’s managing director, Shahril Ridza Ridzuan, said the two entities’ different business models and work culture make a merger unlikely.
