REMBAU, June 23 — Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said a new wave of Covid-19 infections in the country is expected to occur earlier than expected in the next two to three months based on a rise in daily cases.
“I think perhaps the wave will be earlier than our current predictions. For instance, cases today have exceeded 2,700, previously we were at a level of 1,000 to 2,000 cases but has exceeded 2,000 cases in the last two or three days. Khairy once again urged those 60 and above to take their Covid-19 booster shots as a precaution against the next wave.
