'Buat masa ini, saya masih belum memuktamadkan lagi langkah seterusnya untuk PRU15, tumpuan adalah berkhidmat kepada rakyat kerana itu amanah dan tanggungjawab saya sebagai Ahli Parlimen Kuala Nerus tanpa mengira warna parti'.
Beliau berkata, tawaran tersebut mula diterimanya sejak mengumumkan berhenti daripada Pas pada Mac lalu.
“Buat masa ini, saya masih belum memuktamadkan lagi langkah seterusnya untuk PRU15, tumpuan adalah berkhidmat kepada rakyat kerana itu amanah dan tanggungjawab saya sebagai Ahli Parlimen Kuala Nerus tanpa mengira warna parti. Ditanya mengenai desas-desus beliau ingin memohon masuk semula Pas, Mohd. Khairuddin yang juga bekas Menteri Perusahaan Perladangan dan Komoditi itu berkata, setiap parti politik diibaratkan sebagai ‘rumah’ untuk pemimpinnya keluar dan masuk mengikut kesesuaian semasa.
“Namun, itu semua belum difikirkan lagi kerana seperti saya tegaskan tumpuan dan fokus utama saya ketika ini hanya untuk rakyat di Parlimen Kuala Nerus dan yang lain berkaitan bertanding atau tidak, biarlah rahsia sehingga Parlimen bubar nanti.
