Key suspect in S. Korea ‘Nth Room’ sex abuse detained

SOUTH Korean police today said they have arrested a key suspect in the so-called “Nth Room” case, in which dozens of people were allegedly forced to perform “gruesome sex acts” that were filmed and distributed via online chat rooms, reported the Yonhap news agency. Gyeongbuk police’s cybersecurity department said the suspect, a 24-year-old man, confessed to using the alias “God God” in Telegram chat rooms operating on a pay-to-view basis.
