Menurutnya, polis yang menerima maklumat kemudian ke lokasi kejadian sebelum mangsa dikeluarkan dengan bantuan Bomba dan Penyelamat.“Mangsa dipercayai meninggal dunia lebih tiga hari lalu. Mayat kemungkinan dibawa arus ketika hujan lebat,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan, hari ini.“Tiada senjata ditemui berdekatan mayat dan siasatan lanjut dijalankan.
“Mayat dihantar ke Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah Alor Setar untuk bedah siasat dan kes diklasifikasikan sebagai mati mengejut,” katanya. Beliau meminta mana-mana saksi yang dapat memberi maklumat atau mengenali mangsa menghubungi Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Kulim atau balai polis berhampiran.
