: Keputusan permohonan MYAirline Sdn Bhd membatalkan saman difailkan Malaysia Airports Sdn Bhd bagi menuntut syarikat itu membayar RM17.7 juta susulan kegagalannya melunaskan caj perkhidmatan lapangan terbang, akan diputuskan 16 Ogos ini.
Pada 24 Nov tahun lepas, MYAirline memfailkan permohonan tersebut atas alasan plaintif perlu menggunakan satu mekanisme penyelesaian pertikaian seperti dinyatakan dalam Seksyen 74 hingga 78 Akta Suruhanjaya Penerbangan Malaysia 2015 sebelum memfailkan saman tersebut. Kedua-dua plaintif membantah permohonan tersebut kerana mekanisme penyelesaian di bawah Akta Suruhanjaya Penerbangan Malaysia tidak terpakai untuk perkara itu.
Malaysia Airports dan Malaysia Airports Sdn Bhd selaku plaintif memfailkan saman itu pada 18 Okt 2023, dengan mendakwa MYAirline sebagai defendan gagal membayar enam jenis caj perkhidmatan kepada kedua-dua plaintif yang keseluruhannya berjumlah RM17,747,553.02.
