KUALA LUMPUR: The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) have set a final target for the men’s team in the 2024 Thomas Cup Finals - but it’s not carved in stone.
BAM’s coaching and training committee chairman Datuk Kenny Goh said the target could change if needed.
But former singles great Rashid Sidek said the BAM were not ambitious enough by setting a runners-up target for the Thomas Cup Finals. Former Olympic bronze medallist Razif said the coaching line-up under the proposed Project ’24 lacked quality and suggested that the BAM source for new faces.
