The calendar probably can’t turn to 2022 fast enough for Kenny Golladay.
The Giants’ $72 million free-agent signing enters the final two games of the regular season with just 34 receptions and zero touchdown catches in 11 appearances during an injury-hampered first season in New York.
Golladay led the NFL with 11 TD grabs in 2019 for Detroit, and the fifth-year receiver would like to end his personal shutout and get into the end zone at least once over the Giants’ final two games, beginning Sunday against the Bears. “I think anybody would get a little frustrated, but it’s a lot that goes on with trying to get receptions and everything. Everybody plays a role in it.”
Offensive tackle Nate Solder, who was cleared from the COVID reserve list, was limited in practice. “We’ll see where he is physically. I wouldn’t say anything would rule him in or out for Sunday [yet],” head coach Joe Judge said.
