In Bea Alonzo's Lie Detector Challenge, the Sparkle actor was asked if he ever fell in love with any of his leading ladies, and he said yes. However, Kelvin said he was not sure if he felt it as himself, or the fictional character that he played. "'Pag nag-invest ka kasi into a character, 'pag nag-build ka, magke-create ka talaga ng panibagong universe or panibagong reality na maniniwala 'yung tao eh," he said.Kelvin said he would memorize his co-star's face, their voice, what makes them laugh, and other details."Parang nagkaroon ako ng confusion that time na sinabi ko rin naman sa kanya," he said.
