Kelantan terima 800,000 pelancong dari Thailand

KOTA BHARU: Kelantan merekodkan 800,000 pelancong dari Thailand masuk ke negeri ini sepanjang tempoh enam bulan bermula Januari hingga Jun lalu.

Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Pelancongan, Kebudayaan, Kesenian dan Warisan Negeri, Datuk Kamaruddin Md. Noor berkata, jumlah yang direkodkan itu berpandukan kepada statistik itu diperoleh daripada Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia .

“Ramai yang melaporkan hanya rakyat Malaysia berkunjung ke Thailand, sedangkan di Kelantan kita merekodkan 800,000 pengundung dari Thailand membabitkan pelbagai negara masuk ke negeri ini dalam tempoh enam bulan. Kamarudin memberitahu, sehingga kini seramai 1.5 juta pelancong telah direkodkan memasuki negeri ini sehingga 30 Jun lalu sempena Tahun Melawat Kelantan .
