PETALING JAYA: Initial construction work for the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project in Kelantan is in steady progress, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

In a working visit to the east coast state on Friday , the Transport Minister was given a tour of a precast concrete beam manufacturing plant at the Jerus base camp.

“This preparation includes the precasting process of the beam, which is currently being carried out at the plant here. With him during the visit were Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Datuk Seri Darwis Abdul Razak and China Communications Construction Sdn Bhd deputy project director Liu Jianming.
