PETALING JAYA: The Kelantan Wildlife and National Parks Department (Perhilitan) successfully relocated a pair of elephants from Tanah Merah to a new habitat on Saturday (Jan 25).
The pair of elephants were relocated to Hutan Simpan Belum, Perak, and released into its natural habitat, according to Perhilitan's Facebook page on Sunday .
The team that conducted the operation consisted of 20 people from Kelantan Perhilitan and Pahang’s Kuala Gandah National Elephant Conservation Centre.Perhilitan's post has since garnered almost 700 likes. Netizens lauded Perhilitan for its efforts and offered their best wishes to the pair of elephants.
