Kedah Agro Holdings Berhad (KAHB) has stopped its operations due to financial viability concerns, according to Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor. The troubled subsidiary of Kedah Menteri Besar Incorporated (MBI) still has assets and liabilities to manage and settle, preventing a complete shutdown. The state government has stated that it will not provide a bailout for the subsidiary.
: Kedah Agro Holdings Berhad has ceased operations due to its lack of financial viability , Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor said.
“I have long known that the company cannot progress, and its operations must be terminated. This should have been done long ago... it’s already overdue but it must be done. Muhammad Sanusi also said that the state government would not bail out the subsidiary as it goes against the state government’s policies.
