Former prime minister Paul Keating claims China would need an armada to occupy Australia and he does not need a briefing from the “dopey security agency” in Canberra to understand.
Sky News Political Reporter Olivia Caisley questioned if the former prime minister was “out of touch” on the issue of defence after slamming the AUKUS agreement.
“Why would China want to threat? What would be the point? They get the iron ore, the coal, the wheat – what would be the point of China wanting to occupy Sydney and Melbourne militarily?”
