in London, England, the evening’s dress code called for attendees to wear a garment that was either sustainable or recycled . And yet many of the nominees and presenters chose fresh-off-the-runway designs instead. But there was one guest in attendance who followed the protocol: Kate Middleton.

The golden embellishments are in fact in the shapes of a hibiscus, the official flower of Malaysia. With its embroidery-trimmed bustling and long, flowy silhouette, however, the elegant creation felt just as timeless and current as ever.
