The couple was welcomed to Massachusetts at Logan Airport by Governor Charlie Baker, where they immediately paid tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth, calling her “one of life’s optimists.” The Waleses were shown a display of photos of the queen and Prince Philip from their visit to Boston City Hall back in 1976.
