Menurutnya, operasi pemindahan haram itu dilakukan terutama pada waktu malam berikutan dipenuhi kapal dan bot sekali gus mengaburi pihak berkuasa. “Seorang lelaki tempatan yang mengaku pemilik kapal tunda itu turut ditahan bagi mendapatkan butiran lanjut. Kes disiasat mengikut Akta Kawalan Bekalan 1961 dan Akta Pencegahan Wang Haram, Pencegahan Pembiayaan Keganasan dan Hasil Daripada Aktiviti Haram 2001,” ujarnya.
